Events and Things To Do for the Weekend of June 13, 2020. This week is highlighted by two beach cleanups, a dog adoption, language exchange social, and a music party.

Sizihwan/Cijin Beach CLEAN UP!

There is a nationwide trash clean up going on. A local initiative is cleaning two beaches this Saturday, June 13: Chijin Beach and Sizihwan Beach. Everyone is invited to come out and help and make new friends.

Remember to stay hydrated. Some items will be provided, but you are encourage to bring the following:
✅ Heavy duty garbage bag(s)
✅ Gloves/claw grabbers(?!) (optional)
✅ Water (reusable bottles!)/hat/sunscreen/snack
✅ Good shoes (especially if you want to get into the bushes/rocky areas)
✅ Good attitude!

Dog Adoption

Kaohsiung Humane Society is having an adoption event. There will be puppies looking for their forever loving homes 🏠. The adoption is FREE and the puppies will get FREE Microchips, Rabies shot, spay/neuter.

Requirements to adopt:
✅ You must be over 20 years old
✅ Bring a Taiwan ID, ARC or Passport

Please note: You have to wear face masks while at the adoption event, and your body temperature will be checked.

Language Exchange Social

Come out to make friends and learn different languages. This is the first social at a new location, the Victory Inn. It is a 3-minute walk from R15, Ecological District Station, MRT Red Line.
